2015 Ford Taurus vs. 2015 Ford Fusion Review

Comparison Review

The Ford Taurus offers rear passengers about the same space to stretch out as the Ford Fusion with comparable rear head- and legroom in both vehicles. The Ford Fusion will be a favorite with taller drivers due to its greater front head- and legroom than the Ford Taurus.

There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Ford Taurus is somewhat more expensive than the Ford Fusion. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Ford Taurus and the Ford Fusion have similar Destination Charges.

Since the Ford Taurus is much wider than the Ford Fusion, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. If you go with the Ford Taurus, you may be circling the block looking for a space large enough to park more often than with the Ford Fusion.

With its lower torque, the Ford Taurus doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Ford Fusion.

The Ford Taurus has a larger turning radius than the Ford Fusion, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

When it comes to horsepower, the Ford Taurus is somewhat more powerful than the Ford Fusion.

In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Ford Taurus and the Ford Fusion. With its significantly greater cargo capacity, the Ford Taurus will be able to haul more equipment or luggage than the Ford Fusion.

The Ford Taurus comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Ford Fusion.
