2017 Ford Mustang vs. 2016 Nissan 370Z Review

Comparison Review

As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the Ford Mustang and the Nissan 370Z in the front seats.

You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Ford Mustang as you will with the Nissan 370Z, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Based on MSRP, the Ford Mustang is clearly a better financial choice over the Nissan 370Z. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Ford Mustang and the Nissan 370Z have similar Destination Charges.

Since the Ford Mustang is much wider than the Nissan 370Z, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. If you go with the Ford Mustang, you may be circling the block looking for a space large enough to park more often than with the Nissan 370Z.

With somewhat higher torque, the engine of the Ford Mustang transmits a bit more power to the wheels than the Nissan 370Z.

The Ford Mustang has a significantly larger turning radius than the Nissan 370Z, making it much more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

The Ford Mustang has less horsepower than the Nissan 370Z, so it will probably be somewhat slower.

The Ford Mustang offers greater seating capacity than the Nissan 370Z, making it a better choice for those who find themselves chauffeuring others around. With its significantly greater cargo capacity, the Ford Mustang will be able to haul more equipment or luggage than the Nissan 370Z.

The Ford Mustang comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Nissan 370Z.
