2015 Ford Focus vs. 2015 Toyota Camry Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the back seat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Toyota Camry than the Ford Focus, due to its greater head- and legroom. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the Ford Focus and the Toyota Camry in the front seats.

Convenience
With the Toyota Camry you will definitely be making less frequent stops at the gas station than with the Ford Focus, due to its tank size and fuel economy.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Based on MSRP, the Ford Focus is clearly a better financial choice over the Toyota Camry. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Ford Focus and the Toyota Camry have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
The Ford Focus is about the same width as the Toyota Camry. If you go with the Ford Focus, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the Toyota Camry.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque, the Ford Focus doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Toyota Camry.

Performance
The Ford Focus has less horsepower than the Toyota Camry, so it will probably be somewhat slower.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Ford Focus and the Toyota Camry. The Ford Focus has less cargo capacity than the Toyota Camry, which is okay if you don't need to move a lot in one trip.

Warranty
The Ford Focus comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Toyota Camry.
