2016 Ford Fiesta vs. 2017 Kia Forte Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the back seat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Kia Forte than the Ford Fiesta, due to its greater head- and legroom. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the Ford Fiesta and the Kia Forte in the front seats.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Based on MSRP, the Ford Fiesta is clearly a better financial choice over the Kia Forte. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Ford Fiesta and the Kia Forte have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the Ford Fiesta is much slimmer than the Kia Forte, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. The Ford Fiesta is slightly shorter than the Kia Forte, which may make it easier to park.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque, the Ford Fiesta doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Kia Forte.

Handling
The Ford Fiesta has about the same turning radius as the Kia Forte, allowing equal maneuverability in and out of tight spots.

Performance
The Ford Fiesta has less horsepower than the Kia Forte, so it will probably be somewhat slower.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Ford Fiesta and the Kia Forte. The Ford Fiesta has less cargo capacity than the Kia Forte, which is okay if you don't need to move a lot in one trip.

Warranty
The basic warranty of the Ford Fiesta is not as nearly as extensive as that of the Kia Forte.
