2014 Chrysler 200 vs. 2014 Lexus IS 350C Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
Due to its greater rear head- and legroom, backseat passengers will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Chrysler 200 than the Lexus IS 350C. Offering just a little more front head- and legroom than the Chrysler 200, drivers may find the Lexus IS 350C a little roomier and somewhat more comfortable.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Chrysler 200 as you will with the Lexus IS 350C, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Based on MSRP, the Chrysler 200 is clearly a better financial choice over the Lexus IS 350C. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Chrysler 200 will cost more in transportation costs than the Lexus IS 350C.

Dimensions
Since the Chrysler 200 is much wider than the Lexus IS 350C, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. If you go with the Chrysler 200, you may be circling the block looking for a space large enough to park more often than with the Lexus IS 350C.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque, the Chrysler 200 doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Lexus IS 350C.

Handling
The Chrysler 200 has a significantly larger turning radius than the Lexus IS 350C, making it much more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
The Chrysler 200 has less horsepower than the Lexus IS 350C, so it will probably be somewhat slower.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Chrysler 200 and the Lexus IS 350C. The Chrysler 200 has a roomier cargo area for holding your bags or other items than the Lexus IS 350C.

Warranty
The basic warranty of the Chrysler 200 is not as nearly as extensive as that of the Lexus IS 350C.
