2016 Chevrolet Spark vs. 2016 Scion tC Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the back seat will feel a little more squished in the Chevrolet Spark than in the Scion tC, due to the Chevrolet Spark's smaller rear head- and legroom. Offering just a little more front head- and legroom than the Scion tC, the Chevrolet Spark may be a little roomier and more comfortable for the driver and front seat passengers.

Convenience
With the Scion tC you will definitely be making less frequent stops at the gas station than with the Chevrolet Spark, due to its tank size and fuel economy.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Based on MSRP, the Chevrolet Spark is clearly a better financial choice over the Scion tC. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Chevrolet Spark will cost more in transportation costs than the Scion tC.

Dimensions
Since the Chevrolet Spark is much slimmer than the Scion tC, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. If you go with the Chevrolet Spark, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the Scion tC.

Drivetrain
The Chevrolet Spark has much less torque than the Scion tC, which generally means that it won't feel as fast or powerful.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Chevrolet Spark is significantly less powerful than the Scion tC. The good news is that, reportedly, cars with lower horsepower engines often have lower insurance premiums.

Utility
The Chevrolet Spark has less seating than the Scion tC, making the Scion tC the better choice if you need to chauffeur many passengers. The Chevrolet Spark has significantly less cargo room than the Scion tC, which may be a concern if you do a lot of warehouse shopping.

Warranty
The Chevrolet Spark comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Scion tC.
