2014 Cadillac XTS vs. 2013 Infiniti M56 Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
Due to its greater rear head- and legroom, backseat passengers will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Cadillac XTS than the Infiniti M56. The Infiniti M56 will be a favorite with taller drivers due to its greater front head- and legroom than the Cadillac XTS.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Cadillac XTS as you will with the Infiniti M56, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the Cadillac XTS will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Infiniti M56. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Cadillac XTS and the Infiniti M56 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
The Cadillac XTS is about the same width as the Infiniti M56. For some people, bigger is better. If that's the case for you, then you'll be happier with the Cadillac XTS, which is slightly longer than the Infiniti M56.

Drivetrain
The Cadillac XTS has much less torque than the Infiniti M56, which generally means that it won't feel as fast or powerful.

Handling
The Cadillac XTS has a larger turning radius than the Infiniti M56, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Cadillac XTS is significantly less powerful than the Infiniti M56. The good news is that, reportedly, cars with lower horsepower engines often have lower insurance premiums.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Cadillac XTS and the Infiniti M56. The Cadillac XTS has a roomier cargo area for holding your bags or other items than the Infiniti M56.

Warranty
The Infiniti M56 offers a little more coverage in its basic warranty than the Cadillac XTS.
