2015 Cadillac XTS vs. 2014 BMW 335 Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
Due to its greater rear head- and legroom, backseat passengers will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Cadillac XTS than the BMW 335. Offering just a little more front head- and legroom than the Cadillac XTS, drivers may find the BMW 335 a little roomier and somewhat more comfortable.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Cadillac XTS will definitely make more of a dent in your wallet than the BMW 335, which has a much lower MSRP. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Cadillac XTS and the BMW 335 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the Cadillac XTS is much wider than the BMW 335, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. If you go with the Cadillac XTS, you may be circling the block looking for a space large enough to park more often than with the BMW 335.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque, the Cadillac XTS doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the BMW 335.

Handling
The Cadillac XTS has a larger turning radius than the BMW 335, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
In terms of horsepower, it's basically a tie between the Cadillac XTS and the BMW 335.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Cadillac XTS and the BMW 335. With its significantly greater cargo capacity, the Cadillac XTS will be able to haul more equipment or luggage than the BMW 335.

Warranty
The Cadillac XTS comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the BMW 335.
