2013 Cadillac CTS-V vs. 2013 Lexus IS-F Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
Due to its greater rear head- and legroom, backseat passengers will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Cadillac CTS-V than the Lexus IS-F. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the Cadillac CTS-V and the Lexus IS-F in the front seats.

Convenience
The Lexus IS-F requires fewer visits to the gas station than the Cadillac CTS-V, making it more convenient to drive.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Cadillac CTS-V is somewhat more expensive than the Lexus IS-F. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Cadillac CTS-V and the Lexus IS-F have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
The Cadillac CTS-V is a little wider than the Lexus IS-F, so getting in and out of the car in a crowded parking lot may be a little more of a squeeze. For some people, bigger is better. If that's the case for you, then you'll be happier with the Cadillac CTS-V, which is slightly longer than the Lexus IS-F.

Drivetrain
Due to its much higher torque, the engine of the Cadillac CTS-V does a much better job of transmitting power to the wheels than the Lexus IS-F.

Handling
The Cadillac CTS-V has a significantly larger turning radius than the Lexus IS-F, making it much more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Cadillac CTS-V has a much more powerful engine than the Lexus IS-F. However, something you should consider is that higher horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Utility
The Cadillac CTS-V offers greater seating capacity than the Lexus IS-F, making it a better choice for those who find themselves chauffeuring others around. You'll be able to fit about the same amount of groceries into the Cadillac CTS-V as you will in the Lexus IS-F.

Warranty
The Cadillac CTS-V comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Lexus IS-F.
