2013 Cadillac CTS-V vs. 2014 Jaguar XF Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the back seat will feel a little more squished in the Cadillac CTS-V than in the Jaguar XF, due to the Cadillac CTS-V's smaller rear head- and legroom. The Cadillac CTS-V will be a favorite with taller drivers due to its greater front head- and legroom than the Jaguar XF.

Convenience
With the Jaguar XF you will definitely be making less frequent stops at the gas station than with the Cadillac CTS-V, due to its tank size and fuel economy.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the Cadillac CTS-V will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Jaguar XF. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Cadillac CTS-V and the Jaguar XF have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
The Cadillac CTS-V is a little wider than the Jaguar XF, so getting in and out of the car in a crowded parking lot may be a little more of a squeeze. When looking at overall length, the Cadillac CTS-V takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the Jaguar XF.

Drivetrain
With somewhat higher torque, the engine of the Cadillac CTS-V transmits a bit more power to the wheels than the Jaguar XF.

Handling
The Cadillac CTS-V has about the same turning radius as the Jaguar XF, allowing equal maneuverability in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Cadillac CTS-V is somewhat more powerful than the Jaguar XF.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Cadillac CTS-V and the Jaguar XF. The Cadillac CTS-V has significantly less cargo room than the Jaguar XF, which may be a concern if you do a lot of warehouse shopping.

Warranty
The Cadillac CTS-V comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Jaguar XF.
