2014 Cadillac CTS vs. 2013 BMW 128 Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
The Cadillac CTS offers rear passengers about the same space to stretch out as the BMW 128 with comparable rear head- and legroom in both vehicles. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the Cadillac CTS and the BMW 128 in the front seats.

Convenience
The Cadillac CTS will require fewer stops at the gas station than the BMW 128, making it more convenient to drive.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Cadillac CTS will definitely make more of a dent in your wallet than the BMW 128, which has a much lower MSRP. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Cadillac CTS and the BMW 128 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the Cadillac CTS is much wider than the BMW 128, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. If you go with the Cadillac CTS, you may be circling the block looking for a space large enough to park more often than with the BMW 128.

Drivetrain
Due to its much higher torque, the engine of the Cadillac CTS does a much better job of transmitting power to the wheels than the BMW 128.

Handling
The Cadillac CTS has about the same turning radius as the BMW 128, allowing equal maneuverability in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Cadillac CTS has a much more powerful engine than the BMW 128. However, something you should consider is that higher horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Cadillac CTS and the BMW 128. The Cadillac CTS has a roomier cargo area for holding your bags or other items than the BMW 128.

Warranty
The Cadillac CTS comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the BMW 128.
