2015 Cadillac ATS vs. 2015 Volvo S80 Review

Comparison Review

Passengers in the back seat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Volvo S80 than the Cadillac ATS, due to its greater head- and legroom. Offering just a little more front head- and legroom than the Volvo S80, the Cadillac ATS may be a little roomier and more comfortable for the driver and front seat passengers.

You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Cadillac ATS as you will with the Volvo S80, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the Cadillac ATS will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Volvo S80. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Cadillac ATS will cost more in transportation costs than the Volvo S80.

Since the Cadillac ATS is much slimmer than the Volvo S80, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. The Cadillac ATS is slightly shorter than the Volvo S80, which may make it easier to park.

With its lower torque, the Cadillac ATS doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Volvo S80.

The Cadillac ATS has a significantly smaller turning radius than the Volvo S80, allowing much better maneuverability in and out of tight spots.

The Cadillac ATS has less horsepower than the Volvo S80, so it will probably be somewhat slower.

In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Cadillac ATS and the Volvo S80. The Cadillac ATS has significantly less cargo room than the Volvo S80, which may be a concern if you do a lot of warehouse shopping.

The Cadillac ATS comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Volvo S80.
