2015 BMW Z4 vs. 2015 Nissan 370Z Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the BMW Z4 and the Nissan 370Z in the front seats.

Convenience
With the Nissan 370Z you will definitely be making less frequent stops at the gas station than with the BMW Z4, due to its tank size and fuel economy.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The BMW Z4 will definitely make more of a dent in your wallet than the Nissan 370Z, which has a much lower MSRP. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Destination Charge for the BMW Z4 is much higher than that for the Nissan 370Z.

Dimensions
Since the BMW Z4 is much slimmer than the Nissan 370Z, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. When looking at overall length, the BMW Z4 takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the Nissan 370Z.

Drivetrain
With somewhat higher torque, the engine of the BMW Z4 transmits a bit more power to the wheels than the Nissan 370Z.

Handling
The BMW Z4 has a larger turning radius than the Nissan 370Z, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
The BMW Z4 has less horsepower than the Nissan 370Z, so it will probably be somewhat slower.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the BMW Z4 and the Nissan 370Z. With its significantly greater cargo capacity, the BMW Z4 will be able to haul more equipment or luggage than the Nissan 370Z.

Warranty
You'll have greater peace of mind with the more generous basic warranty of the BMW Z4 than that of the Nissan 370Z.
