2014 BMW X3 vs. 2014 Infiniti QX60 Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the backseat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Infiniti QX60 than in the BMW X3, due to its greater head- and legroom. The Infiniti QX60 will be a hit with tall drivers and their front seat passengers, since it has greater front head- and legroom than the BMW X3.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the BMW X3 as you will with the Infiniti QX60, as they are both able to travel similar distances on a tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the BMW X3 will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Infiniti QX60. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. In this case, the BMW X3 will cost less to deliver to the dealership than the Infiniti QX60.

Dimensions
Since the BMW X3 is much slimmer than the Infiniti QX60, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. If you go with the BMW X3, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the Infiniti QX60.

Drivetrain
With somewhat higher torque, the BMW X3 transmits power to its wheels a bit more effectively than the Infiniti QX60.

Handling
The BMW X3 has the same turning radius as the Infiniti QX60, so they both maneuver the same in and out of tight spots.

Performance
If you've got something you need to pull, the BMW X3 will do just as well as the Infiniti QX60, since they have about the same towing capacity. The BMW X3 has a little less horsepower than the Infiniti QX60.

Utility
The BMW X3 has less seating than the Infiniti QX60, making the Infiniti QX60 the better choice, if you need to chauffeur many passengers. The BMW X3 has significantly less cargo capacity than the Infiniti QX60.

Warranty
The Infiniti QX60 offers a little more coverage in its basic warranty than the BMW X3.
