2015 BMW 650 vs. 2015 BMW M6 Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
The BMW 650 offers rear passengers about the same space to stretch out as the BMW M6 with comparable rear head- and legroom in both vehicles. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the BMW 650 and the BMW M6 in the front seats.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the BMW 650 as you will with the BMW M6, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Based on MSRP, the BMW 650 is clearly a better financial choice over the BMW M6. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The BMW 650 and the BMW M6 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
The BMW 650 is about the same width as the BMW M6. When looking at overall length, the BMW 650 takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the BMW M6.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque, the BMW 650 doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the BMW M6.

Handling
The BMW 650 has about the same turning radius as the BMW M6, allowing equal maneuverability in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the BMW 650 is significantly less powerful than the BMW M6. The good news is that, reportedly, cars with lower horsepower engines often have lower insurance premiums.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the BMW 650 and the BMW M6. You'll be able to fit about the same amount of groceries into the BMW 650 as you will in the BMW M6.

Warranty
The BMW 650 comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the BMW M6.
