2015 BMW 435 vs. 2014 BMW M235 Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
The BMW 435 offers rear passengers about the same space to stretch out as the BMW M235 with comparable rear head- and legroom in both vehicles. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the BMW 435 and the BMW M235 in the front seats.

Convenience
The BMW 435 will require fewer stops at the gas station than the BMW M235, making it more convenient to drive.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The BMW 435 is somewhat more expensive than the BMW M235. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The BMW 435 and the BMW M235 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the BMW 435 is much wider than the BMW M235, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. For some people, bigger is better. If that's the case for you, then you'll be happier with the BMW 435, which is slightly longer than the BMW M235.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque, the BMW 435 doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the BMW M235.

Handling
The BMW 435 has a larger turning radius than the BMW M235, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
The BMW 435 has less horsepower than the BMW M235, so it will probably be somewhat slower.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the BMW 435 and the BMW M235. The BMW 435 has a roomier cargo area for holding your bags or other items than the BMW M235.

Warranty
The BMW 435 comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the BMW M235.
