2013 BMW 135 vs. 2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
The BMW 135 offers rear passengers about the same space to stretch out as the Mercedes-Benz C-Class with comparable rear head- and legroom in both vehicles. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the BMW 135 and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class in the front seats.

Convenience
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class requires fewer visits to the gas station than the BMW 135, making it more convenient to drive.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the BMW 135 will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The BMW 135 and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
The BMW 135 is a little narrower than the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, so you'll have an easier time getting in and out of the car in a tight parking spot. The BMW 135 is slightly shorter than the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, which may make it easier to park.

Drivetrain
With somewhat higher torque, the engine of the BMW 135 transmits a bit more power to the wheels than the Mercedes-Benz C-Class.

Handling
The BMW 135 has about the same turning radius as the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, allowing equal maneuverability in and out of tight spots.

Performance
In terms of horsepower, it's basically a tie between the BMW 135 and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the BMW 135 and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. The BMW 135 has less cargo capacity than the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, which is okay if you don't need to move a lot in one trip.

Warranty
The BMW 135 comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
