2013 BMW 128 vs. 2014 Subaru BRZ Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
Due to its greater rear head- and legroom, backseat passengers will be able to stretch out a lot more in the BMW 128 than the Subaru BRZ. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the BMW 128 and the Subaru BRZ in the front seats.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the BMW 128 as you will with the Subaru BRZ, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The BMW 128 is somewhat more expensive than the Subaru BRZ. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Destination Charge for the BMW 128 is much higher than that for the Subaru BRZ.

Dimensions
The BMW 128 is a little narrower than the Subaru BRZ, so you'll have an easier time getting in and out of the car in a tight parking spot. For some people, bigger is better. If that's the case for you, then you'll be happier with the BMW 128, which is slightly longer than the Subaru BRZ.

Drivetrain
With somewhat higher torque, the engine of the BMW 128 transmits a bit more power to the wheels than the Subaru BRZ.

Handling
The BMW 128 has about the same turning radius as the Subaru BRZ, allowing equal maneuverability in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the BMW 128 is somewhat more powerful than the Subaru BRZ.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the BMW 128 and the Subaru BRZ. With its significantly greater cargo capacity, the BMW 128 will be able to haul more equipment or luggage than the Subaru BRZ.

Warranty
You'll have greater peace of mind with the more generous basic warranty of the BMW 128 than that of the Subaru BRZ.
