2013 BMW 128 vs. 2014 Lexus IS 250C Review

Comparison Review

Due to its greater rear head- and legroom, backseat passengers will be able to stretch out a lot more in the BMW 128 than the Lexus IS 250C. The Lexus IS 250C will be a favorite with taller drivers due to its greater front head- and legroom than the BMW 128.

Convenience
With the Lexus IS 250C you will definitely be making less frequent stops at the gas station than with the BMW 128, due to its tank size and fuel economy.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the BMW 128 will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Lexus IS 250C. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The BMW 128 and the Lexus IS 250C have similar Destination Charges.

Since the BMW 128 is much slimmer than the Lexus IS 250C, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. If you go with the BMW 128, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the Lexus IS 250C.

Drivetrain
With somewhat higher torque, the engine of the BMW 128 transmits a bit more power to the wheels than the Lexus IS 250C.

Handling
The BMW 128 has a larger turning radius than the Lexus IS 250C, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the BMW 128 is somewhat more powerful than the Lexus IS 250C.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the BMW 128 and the Lexus IS 250C. The BMW 128 has significantly less cargo room than the Lexus IS 250C, which may be a concern if you do a lot of warehouse shopping.
