2013 BMW 128 vs. 2013 BMW 135 Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
The BMW 128 offers rear passengers about the same space to stretch out as the BMW 135 with comparable rear head- and legroom in both vehicles. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the BMW 128 and the BMW 135 in the front seats.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the BMW 128 as you will with the BMW 135, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the BMW 128 will have less of an impact on your bank account than the BMW 135. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The BMW 128 and the BMW 135 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
The BMW 128 is about the same width as the BMW 135. When looking at overall length, the BMW 128 takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the BMW 135.

Drivetrain
The BMW 128 has much less torque than the BMW 135, which generally means that it won't feel as fast or powerful.

Handling
The BMW 128 has about the same turning radius as the BMW 135, allowing equal maneuverability in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the BMW 128 is significantly less powerful than the BMW 135. The good news is that, reportedly, cars with lower horsepower engines often have lower insurance premiums.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the BMW 128 and the BMW 135. You'll be able to fit about the same amount of groceries into the BMW 128 as you will in the BMW 135.

Warranty
The BMW 128 comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the BMW 135.
