2015 Audi TT vs. 2015 Porsche Boxster Review

Comparison Review

The Porsche Boxster will be a favorite with taller drivers due to its greater front head- and legroom than the Audi TT.

You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Audi TT as you will with the Porsche Boxster, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Based on MSRP, the Audi TT is clearly a better financial choice over the Porsche Boxster. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Audi TT carries a much lower Destination Charge than the Porsche Boxster.

Since the Audi TT is much wider than the Porsche Boxster, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. The Audi TT is slightly shorter than the Porsche Boxster, which may make it easier to park.

With its lower torque, the Audi TT doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Porsche Boxster.

The Audi TT has about the same turning radius as the Porsche Boxster, allowing equal maneuverability in and out of tight spots.

When it comes to horsepower, the Audi TT is significantly less powerful than the Porsche Boxster. The good news is that, reportedly, cars with lower horsepower engines often have lower insurance premiums.

In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Audi TT and the Porsche Boxster. The Audi TT has less cargo capacity than the Porsche Boxster, which is okay if you don't need to move a lot in one trip.

The Audi TT comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Porsche Boxster.
