2014 Audi TT vs. 2014 Lexus IS 350C Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
The Lexus IS 350C will be a favorite with taller drivers due to its greater front head- and legroom than the Audi TT.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Audi TT as you will with the Lexus IS 350C, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the Audi TT will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Lexus IS 350C. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Audi TT and the Lexus IS 350C have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the Audi TT is much wider than the Lexus IS 350C, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. If you go with the Audi TT, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the Lexus IS 350C.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque, the Audi TT doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Lexus IS 350C.

Handling
The Audi TT has a larger turning radius than the Lexus IS 350C, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Audi TT is significantly less powerful than the Lexus IS 350C. The good news is that, reportedly, cars with lower horsepower engines often have lower insurance premiums.

Utility
The Audi TT has less seating than the Lexus IS 350C, making the Lexus IS 350C the better choice if you need to chauffeur many passengers. The Audi TT has significantly less cargo room than the Lexus IS 350C, which may be a concern if you do a lot of warehouse shopping.

Warranty
The Audi TT comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Lexus IS 350C.
