2014 Audi TT vs. 2013 BMW 135 Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the back seat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the BMW 135 than the Audi TT, due to its greater head- and legroom. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the Audi TT and the BMW 135 in the front seats.

Convenience
The Audi TT will require fewer stops at the gas station than the BMW 135, making it more convenient to drive.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Whether you pick the Audi TT or the BMW 135, it's going to cost you about the same. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Audi TT and the BMW 135 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the Audi TT is much wider than the BMW 135, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. The Audi TT is slightly shorter than the BMW 135, which may make it easier to park.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque, the Audi TT doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the BMW 135.

Handling
The Audi TT has a larger turning radius than the BMW 135, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Audi TT is significantly less powerful than the BMW 135. The good news is that, reportedly, cars with lower horsepower engines often have lower insurance premiums.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Audi TT and the BMW 135. With its significantly greater cargo capacity, the Audi TT will be able to haul more equipment or luggage than the BMW 135.

Warranty
The Audi TT comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the BMW 135.
