2014 Audi S6 vs. 2015 Cadillac CTS Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
Due to its greater rear head- and legroom, backseat passengers will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Audi S6 than the Cadillac CTS. The Cadillac CTS will be a favorite with taller drivers due to its greater front head- and legroom than the Audi S6.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Audi S6 as you will with the Cadillac CTS, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Audi S6 will definitely make more of a dent in your wallet than the Cadillac CTS, which has a much lower MSRP. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Audi S6 carries a much lower Destination Charge than the Cadillac CTS.

Dimensions
Since the Audi S6 is much wider than the Cadillac CTS, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. When looking at overall length, the Audi S6 takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the Cadillac CTS.

Drivetrain
Due to its much higher torque, the engine of the Audi S6 does a much better job of transmitting power to the wheels than the Cadillac CTS.

Handling
The Audi S6 has a larger turning radius than the Cadillac CTS, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Audi S6 has a much more powerful engine than the Cadillac CTS. However, something you should consider is that higher horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Audi S6 and the Cadillac CTS. You'll be able to fit about the same amount of groceries into the Audi S6 as you will in the Cadillac CTS.

Warranty
The Audi S6 comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Cadillac CTS.
