2014 Audi allroad vs. 2014 Cadillac CTS Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
The Audi allroad offers rear passengers about the same space to stretch out as the Cadillac CTS with comparable rear head- and legroom in both vehicles. Offering just a little more front head- and legroom than the Audi allroad, drivers may find the Cadillac CTS a little roomier and somewhat more comfortable.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Audi allroad as you will with the Cadillac CTS, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the Audi allroad will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Cadillac CTS. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Audi allroad and the Cadillac CTS have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
The Audi allroad is about the same width as the Cadillac CTS. The Audi allroad is slightly shorter than the Cadillac CTS, which may make it easier to park.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque, the Audi allroad doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Cadillac CTS.

Handling
The Audi allroad has a larger turning radius than the Cadillac CTS, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Audi allroad is significantly less powerful than the Cadillac CTS. The good news is that, reportedly, cars with lower horsepower engines often have lower insurance premiums.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Audi allroad and the Cadillac CTS. The Audi allroad has less cargo capacity than the Cadillac CTS, which is okay if you don't need to move a lot in one trip.

Warranty
The Audi allroad comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Cadillac CTS.
