2014 Acura TSX vs. 2015 Subaru WRX Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the back seat will feel a little more squished in the Acura TSX than in the Subaru WRX, due to the Acura TSX's smaller rear head- and legroom. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the Acura TSX and the Subaru WRX in the front seats.

Convenience
With the Acura TSX you will definitely be making fewer stops at the gas station than with the Subaru WRX, due to its larger tank size and better fuel economy.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Acura TSX is somewhat more expensive than the Subaru WRX. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Destination Charge for the Acura TSX is much higher than that for the Subaru WRX.

Dimensions
Since the Acura TSX is much wider than the Subaru WRX, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. For some people, bigger is better. If that's the case for you, then you'll be happier with the Acura TSX, which is slightly longer than the Subaru WRX.

Drivetrain
The Acura TSX has much less torque than the Subaru WRX, which generally means that it won't feel as fast or powerful.

Handling
The Acura TSX has a larger turning radius than the Subaru WRX, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Acura TSX is significantly less powerful than the Subaru WRX. The good news is that, reportedly, cars with lower horsepower engines often have lower insurance premiums.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Acura TSX and the Subaru WRX. The Acura TSX has a roomier cargo area for holding your bags or other items than the Subaru WRX.

Warranty
You'll have greater peace of mind with the more generous basic warranty of the Acura TSX than that of the Subaru WRX.
