2014 Acura TSX vs. 2013 Cadillac CTS-V Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the back seat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Cadillac CTS-V than the Acura TSX, due to its greater head- and legroom. Offering just a little more front head- and legroom than the Acura TSX, drivers may find the Cadillac CTS-V a little roomier and somewhat more comfortable.

Convenience
With the Acura TSX you will definitely be making fewer stops at the gas station than with the Cadillac CTS-V, due to its larger tank size and better fuel economy.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Based on MSRP, the Acura TSX is clearly a better financial choice over the Cadillac CTS-V. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Acura TSX and the Cadillac CTS-V have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
The Acura TSX is about the same width as the Cadillac CTS-V. When looking at overall length, the Acura TSX takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the Cadillac CTS-V.

Drivetrain
The Acura TSX has much less torque than the Cadillac CTS-V, which generally means that it won't feel as fast or powerful.

Handling
The Acura TSX has a smaller turning radius than the Cadillac CTS-V, allowing you to more easily maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Acura TSX is significantly less powerful than the Cadillac CTS-V. The good news is that, reportedly, cars with lower horsepower engines often have lower insurance premiums.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Acura TSX and the Cadillac CTS-V. The Acura TSX has a roomier cargo area for holding your bags or other items than the Cadillac CTS-V.
