2014 Acura TL vs. 2014 Chrysler 300C Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the back seat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Chrysler 300C than the Acura TL, due to its greater head- and legroom. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the Acura TL and the Chrysler 300C in the front seats.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Acura TL as you will with the Chrysler 300C, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the Acura TL will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Chrysler 300C. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Acura TL carries a much lower Destination Charge than the Chrysler 300C.

Dimensions
The Acura TL is a little narrower than the Chrysler 300C, so you'll have an easier time getting in and out of the car in a tight parking spot. The Acura TL is slightly shorter than the Chrysler 300C, which may make it easier to park.

Drivetrain
With similar torque, the Acura TL and the Chrysler 300C do an equal job of transmitting their engine's power to their wheels.

Handling
The Acura TL has about the same turning radius as the Chrysler 300C, allowing equal maneuverability in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Acura TL is significantly less powerful than the Chrysler 300C. The good news is that, reportedly, cars with lower horsepower engines often have lower insurance premiums.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Acura TL and the Chrysler 300C. The Acura TL has significantly less cargo room than the Chrysler 300C, which may be a concern if you do a lot of warehouse shopping.

Warranty
You'll have greater peace of mind with the more generous basic warranty of the Acura TL than that of the Chrysler 300C.
