2016 Acura RLX vs. 2017 Jaguar XF Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
The Acura RLX offers a bit more room for passengers in the back seat than the Jaguar XF. Offering just a little more front head- and legroom than the Jaguar XF, the Acura RLX may be a little roomier and more comfortable for the driver and front seat passengers.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Acura RLX as you will with the Jaguar XF, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the Acura RLX will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Jaguar XF. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. In this case, the Acura RLX will cost less to deliver to the dealership than the Jaguar XF.

Dimensions
Since the Acura RLX is much slimmer than the Jaguar XF, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. When looking at overall length, the Acura RLX takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the Jaguar XF.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque, the Acura RLX doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Jaguar XF.

Handling
The Acura RLX has a larger turning radius than the Jaguar XF, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
The Acura RLX has less horsepower than the Jaguar XF, so it will probably be somewhat slower.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Acura RLX and the Jaguar XF. The Acura RLX has less cargo capacity than the Jaguar XF, which is okay if you don't need to move a lot in one trip.

Warranty
The basic warranty of the Acura RLX is not as nearly as extensive as that of the Jaguar XF.
