2015 Acura RDX vs. 2015 Toyota Venza Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the backseat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Toyota Venza than in the Acura RDX, due to its greater head- and legroom. The Acura RDX offers just a little more front head- and legroom than the Toyota Venza, making it a little more comfortable for the driver and front passenger.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Acura RDX as you will with the Toyota Venza, as they are both able to travel similar distances on a tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Acura RDX is somewhat more expensive than the Toyota Venza. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. Both the Acura RDX and the Toyota Venza have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
The Acura RDX is a little narrower than the Toyota Venza, so you'll have an easier time getting in and out of the car in a tight parking spot. The Acura RDX is slightly shorter than the Toyota Venza, which may make it easier to park.

Drivetrain
Due to its much higher torque, the Acura RDX does a much better job of transmitting its engine's horsepower to its wheels than the Toyota Venza.

Handling
The Acura RDX has a smaller turning radius than the Toyota Venza, allowing you to more easily maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When considering towing capacity, the Acura RDX is clearly the choice over the Toyota Venza for pulling heavy loads. When it comes to horsepower, the Acura RDX greatly out-muscles the Toyota Venza.

Utility
In terms of seating, you'll be able to fit about the same number of people in both the Acura RDX and the Toyota Venza. The Acura RDX has less cargo space than the Toyota Venza, which is okay if you don't need to move a lot in one trip.

Warranty
You'll have greater peace of mind with the more generous basic warranty of the Acura RDX than that of the Toyota Venza.
