With that kind of horsepower, the Porsche Boxster is a genuine speedster. With respect to horsepower, the Porsche Boxster packs quite a wallop and will knock the Pontiac Solstice down a few rungs. On the flip side, remember that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Dimensions
Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Porsche Boxster than the Solstice because of its larger tank. The Pontiac Solstice and the Porsche Boxster compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
