Porsche Boxster vs. BMW 135 Review

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The BMW is considerably cheaper to get to the dealership than the Boxster. As far as MSRP, the 135 costs considerably less than the Porsche Boxster.

Utility
Drivers with frequent kid-duty might favor the 135 over the Porsche Boxster.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Boxster offers a bit more head room than the BMW 135, there really isn't much of a difference.

Dimensions
The BMW 135 is tremendously more bulky than the Boxster. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Boxster than the BMW 135 because of its larger tank. The BMW 135 and the Porsche Boxster compete for the same parking spaces. The Porsche Boxster's shorter wheelbase will likely give a more maneuverable feel in daily traffic. On the other hand, the BMW 135 is likely to have a smoother, more stable ride.

Handling
With their similar turning circles, the BMW 135 and the Boxster most definitely handle about the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Boxster's engine is a tad smaller than the BMW 135's, but not terribly so. The Porsche Boxster could learn a lesson or two from the BMW 135 as far as pickup. The BMW 135 packs quite a wallop compared to the Porsche Boxster regarding torque, which is roughly equivalent to acceleration.

Warranty
The BMW 135 and the Boxster have the same basic warranty.
