Porsche Boxster vs. Audi TTS Review

Handling
With their comparable turning radii, the Audi TTS and the Porsche Boxster most definitely handle almost the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Porsche Boxster's engine is considerably more massive than the Audi TTS's. Note that bigger engines may use more gas than smaller ones. Torque equals pickup, and the Audi TTS will have picked up and gone by the time the Porsche Boxster finally gets moving. The Porsche Boxster could learn a lesson or two from the Audi TTS when it comes to pickup.

Utility
Neither the Porsche Boxster nor the Audi TTS has a marked advantage when it comes to seating capacity.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Porsche Boxster offers a bit more head room than the Audi TTS, there frankly isn't much of a difference.

Dimensions
The Audi TTS is tremendously heavier than the Porsche Boxster. The TTS's tank is almost the same size as the Porsche Boxster's, though the Boxster's is slightly larger. The Audi TTS and the Boxster compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The Audi TTS is significantly cheaper to get to the dealership than the Porsche. When it comes to MSRP, the Audi TTS costs considerably less than the Porsche Boxster.

Warranty
The Audi TTS and the Porsche Boxster have the same basic after-sale protection.
