The Pontiac Vibe and the Scion tC can accommodate the same number of passengers.

Dimensions
The Vibe's tank is roughly the same size as the Scion's, though the Scion's is somewhat bigger. The Pontiac Vibe and the Scion tC compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
You'll most certainly have to take the Pontiac Vibe for a fill-up more often than the Scion tC because of its tank size and fuel economy.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs approximately the same to get the tC to the dealership as the Vibe. The Pontiac doesn't pale in comparison to the tC as far as gas mileage. As far as MSRP, the Scion tC costs considerably less than the Pontiac Vibe.

Handling
With their comparable turning circles, the Pontiac Vibe and the Scion tC quite certainly handle almost the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Pontiac Vibe's engine is considerably smaller than the Scion tC's. Note that a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder; on the flip side, smaller engines are often cheaper to fix. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Scion tC is substantially more powerful than the Vibe. The Pontiac Vibe could learn a lesson or two from the Scion tC regarding pickup.

Comfort
Taller drivers will significantly enjoy the extra head room in the Vibe's front cabin compared to the Scion tC. The ampler interior dimensions of the Pontiac Vibe make it roomier for your passengers than the Scion tC.

Warranty
The Scion tC and the Pontiac Vibe have the same basic warranty.
