Performance
As far as horsepower, the Pontiac Vibe packs quite a punch and will knock the Nissan down a few rungs. On the flip side, note that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Dimensions
The Pontiac Vibe's tank is about the same size as the Nissan's, though the Versa's is a bit bigger. The Pontiac Vibe and the Nissan Versa compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
The Pontiac Vibe's fuel tank will need to be replenished more often than the unit in the Nissan Versa.

Cost
The Pontiac Vibe will tax your gasoline budget significantly more than the Nissan Versa will. The Nissan Versa will save you money at the pump compared to the Pontiac Vibe. The Nissan Versa is tremendously less expensive than the Vibe when it comes to MSRP.

Handling
With their similar turning circles, the Nissan Versa and the Pontiac definitely handle roughly the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Nissan Versa and the Pontiac Vibe have similar-sized engines, with a slight advantage to the Pontiac Vibe. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Pontiac Vibe is significantly more powerful than the Nissan Versa. Torque equals pickup, and the Pontiac will have picked up and gone by the time the Nissan Versa finally gets moving.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Nissan Versa offers a bit more head room than the Pontiac Vibe, there frankly isn't much of a difference. While the rear of the Nissan Versa provides a bit more head- and leg-room than the Pontiac Vibe, there frankly isn't much of a difference.
