Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Pontiac packs quite a wallop and will knock the Chevrolet Aveo down a few rungs. However, bear in mind that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Handling
With its tighter turning radius, the Chevrolet Aveo is quite certainly more agile than the Vibe, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the other hand, remember that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The Chevrolet Aveo's engine is a little smaller than the Pontiac Vibe's, but not terribly so. The Chevrolet Aveo could learn a lesson or two from the Pontiac as far as torque.

The Chevrolet Aveo's tank is almost the same size as the Pontiac Vibe's, though the Pontiac Vibe's is a bit larger. The Chevrolet Aveo and the Pontiac compete for the same parking spaces.
