Nissan Titan vs. GMC Sierra 1500 Review

Performance
With that kind of horsepower, both the Sierra 1500 and the Nissan Titan are true sportscars.

Handling
With its tighter turning circle, the GMC Sierra 1500 is most certainly more agile than the Nissan Titan, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the flip side, note that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The Nissan has a larger engine than the GMC Sierra 1500. Bear in mind that smaller engines typically get better gas mileage, but a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder. Torque equals pickup, and the Nissan Titan will have picked up and gone by the time the Sierra 1500 finally gets moving. The Nissan Titan packs quite a wallop compared to the Sierra 1500 in terms of torque, which is roughly equivalent to acceleration.

Utility
Neither the GMC Sierra 1500 nor the Nissan has a marked advantage in terms of seating capacity. The Titan is likely a better choice than the GMC Sierra 1500 as far as transporting cargo, especially if you frequently need to carry a lot of loot or sizeable animals. The GMC Sierra 1500 outpulls the Nissan by a massive margin.

Convenience
You will most certainly have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Nissan than with the Sierra 1500.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Sierra 1500 offers a bit more head room than the Nissan Titan, there honestly isn't much of a difference. While the rear of the GMC Sierra 1500 offers a bit more head- and leg-room than the Nissan Titan, there honestly isn't much of a difference.

Dimensions
Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the GMC Sierra 1500 than the Nissan because of its bigger tank. The Sierra 1500 and the Nissan Titan compete for the same parking spaces. The Nissan Titan's longer wheelbase will likely result in a smoother, more stable ride; however, the GMC Sierra 1500 may give a more maneuverable feel in daily traffic.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The Nissan Titan is significantly cheaper to get to the dealership than the GMC Sierra 1500. When it comes to gas mileage, the GMC Sierra 1500 beats the Titan. The Nissan pales in comparison to the GMC Sierra 1500 as far as fuel economy. The GMC isn't much less costly than the Nissan Titan when it comes to MSRP.

Warranty
The Nissan Titan and the GMC Sierra 1500 have the same basic after-sale protection.
