Nissan Titan vs. GMC Canyon Review

Utility
The GMC Canyon and the Nissan can accommodate the same number of passengers. The Nissan Titan is a better choice than the GMC Canyon in terms of hauling capacity, especially if you often need to carry a lot of suitcases or big animals. The Nissan outpulls the Canyon by a large margin.

Performance
With that kind of horsepower, both the GMC Canyon and the Nissan Titan are true speedsters.

Dimensions
The Nissan Titan is significantly heavier than the GMC Canyon. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Titan than the GMC Canyon because of its larger tank. The Canyon fits in smaller parking spaces than the Titan. The GMC Canyon's shorter wheelbase may produce a less-settled highway ride but a nimbler feel in daily traffic than the Nissan Titan.

Convenience
You'll quite certainly take the Nissan for a fill-up almost as often as the GMC Canyon.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs roughly the same to get the GMC Canyon to the dealership as the Nissan Titan. The Titan pales in comparison to the GMC Canyon when it comes to gas mileage. The Nissan Titan will tax your gasoline budget substantially more than the GMC Canyon will. The GMC Canyon is significantly less pricey than the Nissan Titan as far as MSRP. The GMC Canyon will save you a bundle at the pump every year compared to the Titan.

Handling
With its tighter turning circle, the GMC Canyon is quite certainly more maneuverable than the Nissan Titan, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the other hand, note that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The Nissan Titan has a bigger engine than the GMC Canyon. Note that smaller engines are often cheaper to fix, but a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder. The Nissan Titan packs quite a wallop compared to the GMC when it comes to torque, which is the force that lets you accelerate quickly. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Nissan is tremendously more powerful than the GMC.

Comfort
Taller drivers will significantly enjoy the extra head room in the Nissan's front cabin compared to the GMC Canyon. The Titan offers more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Canyon does.

Warranty
The Titan and the GMC Canyon have the same basic after-sale protection.
