2012 Nissan Titan Exterior

2012 Nissan Titan Overview (See Available Styles)

With extreme off-roading and towing capabilities, the 2012 Nissan Titan pickup towers over the rest of the trucking universe.

Available in four trims: S, SV, SL, and the off-road specialist PRO-4X, the 2012 Titan offers something for everyone. A new Sport Appearance package available in the SV trim adds a darkened grille, body-colored bumpers, black step rails and 20-inch dark-silver painted wheels for a more-menacing look. Competition includes the Chevrolet Silverado 1500, RAM 1500, and Ford F-150.

A 317-horsepower, 5.6-liter V-8 (a flex fuel E-85 version of this engine is also offered) is paired to a five-speed automatic transmission and is available in two- or four-wheel-drive. Cabin choices include King and Crew Cab configurations. The King Cab is equipped with your choice of a 6.6-foot or 8-foot bed, while the Crew Cab gets either a 5.6-foot or 7-foot bed. Fuel economy ratings are truck-like at 12-13 mpg in the city and 17-18 mpg on the highway. When properly equipped, the Titan can tow up to 9,500 pounds and carry a maximum payload of 2,062 pounds.

Take advantage of the 2012 Nissan Titan’s 40/20/40 front bench seat and 60/40-split rear bench giving it a total of 126 cubic-feet of interior volume (Crew Cab) and seating for up to six occupants. The King Cab S Popular Equipment Package adds 18-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, a chrome grille, and a sliding rear window. A factory spray-on bedliner, lockable bedside storage, and a Utili-track adjustable tie-down system, which gives you a custom fit when fastening cargo, are just some of the helpful exterior features on all trims.

The 2012 Nissan Titan’s SV trim features power mirrors, keyless entry, and an in-dash six-CD changer. An eight-way power driver seat, power-adjustable pedals, rear parking sensors, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror are optional features in the SV. The Value Truck Package includes captain's chairs, a tow hitch, Bluetooth® connectivity, and fog lights. The top-of-the-luxury-line SL features dual-zone automatic climate control, driver memory functions, leather-wrapped shifter, 10-speaker Rockford Fosgate sound system, and a rear-seat DVD entertainment system.

Get dirty with the 2012 Nissan Titan PRO-4X trim, which is equipped with Rancho shocks a 3.357:1 axle ratio, heavy-duty skid plates, BFGoodrich Rugged Trail tires, and a push-button rear-locking differential.
Safety features in the 2012 Nissan Titan include side curtain airbags, Active Brake Limited Slip, an electronic stability system, front-seat active head restraints and rear parking sensors.

With enough power to get the job done and the off-roading capabilities to destroy any trail, the 2012 Nissan Titan is a force to be reckoned with.
