2014 Nissan Titan Overview
The Titan full-size pickup truck comes in four trim levels: S, SV, SL, and the off-road-ready PRO-4X, which includes an electronic locking rear differential, 18-inch alloy wheels, skid plates, Rancho shock absorbers and a 3.357:1 axle ratio. The Titan has seating for up to six people and competes with the Chevrolet Silverado, Ram 1500 and Ford F-150.
The Titan comes in a King Cab and crew-cab variety featuring long- and short-bed cargo boxes for either trim. Lockable bedside storage behind left rear wheel come standard. Additional options include 20-inch alloy wheels, Utili-track adjustable tie-down system, factory spray-in bed liner, side step rails, bed-mounted household power outlet, trailer hitch receiver, power moonroof and fog lights available.
The full-size pickup features standard bench seats with available bucket seats and fold-down front passenger seat (with bucket seats). Additional technology options include rear-seat DVD entertainment system, navigation system, stereo with USB connectivity and satellite radio, and remote keyless entry.
Under the Hood
The Titan is powered by a 317-horsepower, 5.6-liter V-8 engine in five-speed automatic transmission in either rear- or four-wheel drive. All engine and drivetrain options use regular gas with E85 ethanol capability optional.
Standard safety includes side curtain airbags, electronic stability system, active brake limited slip, front-seat active head restaraints, and side-impact airbags for the front seats. Additional features include rear parking sesnors and backup camera.
