Nissan Quest vs. Volkswagen Routan Review

With their comparable turning radii, the Volkswagen Routan and the Quest most certainly handle approximately the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Routan's engine isn't much bigger than the Nissan Quest's.

Utility
Neither the Nissan Quest nor the Routan has a marked advantage with respect to seating capacity. There's no clear winner between the Nissan Quest and the Volkswagen Routan as far as hauling capacity. The Nissan Quest outpulls the Volkswagen Routan by a sizeable margin.

Convenience
The Nissan Quest's fuel tank will need to be replenished a tad more often than the unit in the Volkswagen.

Comfort
Taller drivers will substantially enjoy the extra head room in the Nissan Quest's front cabin compared to the Routan. The Nissan Quest provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Volkswagen Routan does.

Dimensions
The Nissan Quest's tank is approximately the same size as the Volkswagen Routan's, though the Volkswagen Routan's is slightly larger. The Volkswagen and the Nissan Quest compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs roughly the same to get the Routan to the dealership as the Nissan Quest. The Nissan won't tax your gas budget considerably more than the Volkswagen Routan will. There really isn't much of a difference in gas mileage here, but if you must know, the Volkswagen Routan is somewhat more economical than the Quest. With respect to MSRP, the Volkswagen Routan costs approximately as much as the Nissan (though the Nissan is a tad cheaper).
