Nissan Quest vs. Kia Rondo Review

Neither the Rondo nor the Nissan Quest has a marked advantage in terms of seating capacity.

Dimensions
The Nissan Quest is substantially heavier than the Kia Rondo. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Nissan Quest than the Rondo because of its bigger tank. The Kia Rondo fits in smaller parking spaces than the Quest. The Nissan Quest's longer wheelbase will result in a smoother, more stable ride; on the other hand, the Kia Rondo may give a more maneuverable feel in daily traffic.

Convenience
You will most certainly have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Kia Rondo than with the Nissan Quest.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The Kia Rondo is substantially cheaper to get to the dealership than the Nissan Quest. When it comes to fuel economy, the Kia Rondo is somewhat better than the Nissan Quest, but not by much. Regarding fuel economy, the Kia and the Nissan Quest don't differ much. The Kia Rondo is tremendously less pricey than the Nissan Quest in terms of MSRP.

Handling
With its tighter turning radius, the Rondo is definitely sprier than the Quest, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the flip side, note that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The Kia Rondo's engine is significantly smaller than the Nissan Quest's. Keep in mind that smaller engines can be stressed more; on the flip side, smaller engines are often cheaper to fix. The Kia Rondo could learn a lesson or two from the Nissan with respect to torque. Torque equals pickup, and the Nissan Quest will have picked up and gone by the time the Kia Rondo finally gets moving.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Nissan Quest offers a bit more head room than the Rondo, there honestly isn't much of a difference. The Nissan Quest offers more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Rondo does.

Warranty
The basic warranty that comes with the Nissan isn't quite as generous as the Kia's.
