Nissan Quest vs. GMC Savana 3500 Review

Performance
With that kind of horsepower, the GMC is a genuine speedster. With respect to horsepower, the GMC Savana 3500 packs quite a punch and will knock the Nissan Quest down a few rungs. However, bear in mind that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Handling
With its tighter turning radius, the Nissan is most certainly sprier than the GMC Savana 3500, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the flip side, note that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The GMC Savana 3500 has a more massive engine than the Quest. Remember that smaller engines are often cheaper to fix, but smaller engines can be stressed more. The Nissan Quest could learn a lesson or two from the GMC in terms of pickup.

Utility
The GMC will definitely prove more convenient than the Nissan Quest for those of you with frequent child-cargo. The GMC Savana 3500 is a better choice than the Nissan Quest regarding hauling capacity, especially if you frequently need to carry a lot of cargo or dogs. The GMC Savana 3500 outpulls the Nissan by a big margin.

Comfort
Taller drivers will considerably enjoy the extra head room in the Nissan Quest's front cabin compared to the GMC Savana 3500. The Nissan Quest offers more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the GMC Savana 3500 does.

Dimensions
The GMC is tremendously more bulky than the Nissan. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the GMC Savana 3500 than the Nissan Quest because of its larger tank. The Nissan and the GMC Savana 3500 compete for the same parking spaces. The Nissan Quest's shorter wheelbase may produce a less-settled highway ride but a nimbler feel in daily traffic than the GMC Savana 3500.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The Nissan is considerably cheaper to get to the dealership than the GMC Savana 3500. With respect to MSRP, the GMC Savana 3500 costs roughly as much as the Nissan Quest (though the Nissan Quest is a bit cheaper).

Warranty
The GMC Savana 3500 and the Quest have the same basic warranty.
