Nissan Quest vs. Ford E-350 Super Duty Review

Utility
The Nissan will most definitely prove more practical than the Ford for those of you with frequent child-cargo. The Ford is a better choice than the Nissan Quest as far as transporting cargo, especially if you often need to carry a lot of cargo or large dogs. The Ford E-350 Super Duty outpulls the Nissan Quest by a big margin.

Performance
With that kind of horsepower, the Ford E-350 Super Duty is a genuine speedster. In terms of horsepower, the Ford packs quite a punch and will knock the Quest down a few rungs. On the other hand, keep in mind that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Dimensions
The Ford E-350 Super Duty is substantially more bulky than the Nissan Quest. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Ford E-350 Super Duty than the Nissan Quest because of its larger tank. The Nissan Quest and the Ford compete for the same parking spaces. The Ford E-350 Super Duty's longer wheelbase will result in a smoother, more stable ride; on the flip side, the Quest may give a more agile feel in daily traffic.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The Nissan is substantially cheaper to get to the dealership than the E-350 Super Duty. Regarding MSRP, the Quest doesn't cost much less than the Ford E-350 Super Duty.

Handling
With its tighter turning circle, the Nissan Quest is most certainly more agile than the Ford E-350 Super Duty, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the flip side, bear in mind that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The E-350 Super Duty has a more sizeable engine than the Nissan Quest. Remember that smaller engines typically get better gas mileage, but a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Ford E-350 Super Duty is significantly more powerful than the Nissan Quest. Torque equals pickup, and the E-350 Super Duty will have picked up and gone by the time the Quest finally gets moving.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the E-350 Super Duty offers a bit more head room than the Nissan Quest, there honestly isn't much of a difference. The Nissan Quest provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the E-350 Super Duty does.

Warranty
The Ford E-350 Super Duty and the Nissan Quest have the same basic after-sale protection.
