2010 Nissan Pathfinder Overview
When you feel lost and about to give up, the 2010 Nissan Pathfinder is sure to help you find your way. With lots of power, a high towing capacity, and available navigation system and four-wheel drive, the Pathfinder has what it takes to get you on track and handle whatever you need it to.

Our courageous trail guide comes with either a 266-horsepower, 4.0-liter V-6 – in one of three models – or a 310-horsepower, 5.6-liter V-8, which comes in LE trim only. The Pathfinder achieves 13-15 city mpg and 18-22 highway mpg, while achieving a 6,000-pound tow rating with a properly equipped V-6 model, or 7,000 pounds with a properly equipped LE-V8; power and tow ratings stack up well against the Ford Explorer and Chevy Traverse. Both engines are mated to a beefy five-speed automatic transmission.

Considering its essentially unbeatable price, the base model Nissan Pathfinder S is a great package. Cloth seats for seven occupants, air conditioning, and full power features makes for a great start. Step up to the SE V-6 model and get treated to dual zone climate control, plus options of 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, a rearview camera, a 10-speaker Bose audio system and XM Satellite Radio. Even better are the LE models; with a V-6 or a V-8, which adds a wood-toned interior, some leather seats, a moonroof, and available heated steering wheel. A navigation system – a must have to make your Pathfinder a true path finder – comes standard with the LE V-8.

A fully-boxed, all-steel ladder-style frame serves as a strong underpinning for both reliable off-roading and occupant protection roles. That chassis, with a rigid body structure that houses a full suite of airbags, makes for a crash-worthy package capable of Four- and Five-Star impact ratings (not all ratings are available at this time for the 2010 model). An electronic stability system and antilock brakes help the 2010 Nissan Pathfinder avoid impact whenever possible, for even safer travel and path searching expeditions.

If paradise exists, the 2010 Nissan Pathfinder is a great way to help you find it. Whether the road to get there be marred with inclement weather or rough terrain, or both, the Pathfinder offers the goods to handle all barriers and deliver you and your six closest friends in comfort and safety.
