Nissan Murano vs. Saturn VUE Review

With their similar turning circles, the Nissan Murano and the Saturn VUE likely handle approximately the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Nissan Murano's engine is substantially bigger than the Saturn VUE's. Remember that more massive engines may use more gas than smaller ones. The Saturn could learn a lesson or two from the Nissan Murano as far as torque. The Nissan Murano packs quite a punch compared to the Saturn VUE when it comes to torque, which is the force that lets you accelerate quickly.

Utility
Neither the Saturn nor the Murano has a marked advantage regarding seating capacity.

Convenience
You will have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Saturn VUE than with the Nissan.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the VUE offers a bit more head room than the Nissan Murano, there frankly isn't much of a difference. The Saturn VUE is not particularly roomier for your passengers than the Nissan Murano.

Dimensions
Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Nissan Murano than the Saturn VUE because of its larger tank. The Saturn VUE and the Nissan Murano compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs almost the same to get the VUE to the dealership as the Nissan Murano. The Nissan won't save you much money at the pump compared to the Saturn. Producing an accurate fuel economy evaluation is so difficult that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though both the Saturn VUE and the Saturn VUE perform about comparably in terms of gas mileage. Regarding MSRP, the Nissan Murano costs roughly as much as the Saturn VUE (though the Saturn VUE is a tad cheaper).
