Nissan Murano vs. Mazda CX-7 Review

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the Mazda CX-7 to the dealership as the Nissan Murano. The Mazda CX-7 won't tax your gas budget considerably more than the Nissan Murano will. As far as MSRP, the Mazda CX-7 costs substantially less than the Murano.

Utility
Neither the Murano nor the Mazda CX-7 has a marked advantage with respect to seating capacity. Towing is substantially more the Nissan Murano's forte than it is the CX-7's.

Convenience
The Mazda's fuel tank will need to be replenished more often than the unit in the Murano.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Nissan offers a bit more head room than the Mazda CX-7, there frankly isn't much of a difference.

Dimensions
Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Nissan Murano than the Mazda CX-7 because of its larger tank. The CX-7 and the Nissan Murano compete for the same parking spaces.

Drivetrain
The Murano's engine is significantly more sizeable than the Mazda CX-7's. Keep in mind that larger engines may use more gasoline than smaller ones. The Mazda CX-7 could learn a lesson or two from the Nissan Murano in terms of torque. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Nissan Murano is tremendously more powerful than the Mazda CX-7.

Warranty
The Mazda CX-7 and the Nissan Murano have the same basic warranty.
