Nissan Murano vs. Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Review

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs approximately the same to get the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited to the dealership as the Nissan. Producing a precise gas mileage evaluation is so tough that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though the Nissan is the winner with respect to gas mileage. The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited guzzles a lot of gas compared to the Nissan Murano. The Murano is considerably more expensive than the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited regarding MSRP.

Utility
Neither the Nissan Murano nor the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited has a marked advantage in terms of seating capacity. There's no clear winner between the Nissan Murano and the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited as far as hauling capacity.

Convenience
You'll quite certainly have to take the Wrangler Unlimited for a fill-up more often than the Nissan because of its tank size and gas mileage.

Comfort
Taller drivers will considerably enjoy the extra head room in the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited's front cabin compared to the Nissan Murano. While the rear of the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited provides a bit more head- and leg-room than the Nissan Murano, there frankly isn't much of a difference.

Dimensions
The Nissan Murano's tank is about the same size as the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited's, though the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited's is a bit larger. The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and the Nissan Murano compete for the same parking spaces.

Performance
With respect to horsepower, the Nissan Murano packs quite a punch and will knock the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited down a few rungs. On the other hand, keep in mind that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Handling
With its tighter turning radius, the Murano is quite certainly nimbler than the Wrangler Unlimited, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; however, remember that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The Nissan Murano's engine is slightly smaller than the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited's, but not terribly so. The Wrangler Unlimited has no lessons to learn as far as torque from the Nissan.

Warranty
The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and the Murano have the same basic warranty.
