With their comparable turning circles, the Veracruz and the Nissan Murano most definitely handle almost the same into and out of tight spots.

The Nissan Murano and the Hyundai have similar-sized engines, with a slight advantage to the Hyundai. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Hyundai isn't much more powerful than the Nissan Murano. The Nissan Murano has no lessons to learn with respect to torque from the Hyundai Veracruz.

The Hyundai Veracruz will most certainly prove more convenient than the Nissan Murano for those of you with frequent child-cargo.
