Nissan Murano vs. HUMMER H3 SUV Review

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the HUMMER H3 to the dealership as the Nissan Murano. The HUMMER H3 will tax your gas budget quite a bit more than the Nissan will. The HUMMER H3 pales in comparison to the Nissan Murano when it comes to gas mileage. The HUMMER isn't much costlier than the Nissan in terms of MSRP. The Nissan Murano will save you a bunch of money at the pump every year compared to the HUMMER H3.

Utility
The Nissan's more sizeable trunk will accommodate more large items than the HUMMER H3. The Murano and the HUMMER H3 can accommodate the same number of passengers. There's no clear winner between the H3 and the Nissan regarding transporting cargo. Towing is significantly more the HUMMER H3's forte than it is the Nissan Murano's.

Convenience
The HUMMER's fuel tank will need to be replenished more often than the unit in the Nissan Murano.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Murano offers a bit more head room than the HUMMER, there really isn't much of a difference. The Nissan Murano is not particularly roomier for your passengers than the HUMMER H3.

Dimensions
The H3 is quite a bit more ponderous than the Nissan Murano. The Nissan Murano's tank is roughly the same size as the HUMMER H3's, though the HUMMER H3's is slightly more capacious. The HUMMER H3 rides lower than the Murano, which is a good thing for its center of gravity and ease of access. The HUMMER and the Murano compete for the same parking spaces.

Handling
The HUMMER has substantially wider tires than the Murano. Note that bigger tires could look and feel better, while narrower tires can provide better handling in deep snow. With their comparable turning circles, the HUMMER H3 and the Nissan Murano indubitably handle roughly the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Nissan and the H3 have similar-sized engines, with a slight advantage to the H3. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Nissan Murano isn't much more powerful than the H3.

Overview
The basic after-sale protection that comes with the Nissan Murano isn't quite as generous as the HUMMER H3's.
